Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady are among the 9 Celebrities named in FTX-Related class-action lawsuits

In a class-action lawsuit, former FTX CEO Sam Bankman Fried (SBF), and a few celebrities such as Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen and Stephen Curry have been named. The suit concerns the alleged deceptive practices of FTX. Adam Moskowitz, David Boies and other attorneys filed the lawsuit late Tuesday. The suit claims that SBF and associated celebrities promoted unregistered security.

Sam Bankman-Fried (also known as SBF) and 12 other defendants, including the NBA team, the Golden State Warriors LLC, were named in a class action lawsuit filed by Moskowitz & Boies on behalf Edwin Garrison, an Oklahoma resident.
Apart from the NBA franchise, other celebrities and well-known individuals such as Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen are also accused.
Garrison’s Tuesday complaint states that “FTX’s fraudulent scheme was intended to take advantage of unsophisticated investor from across the nation, who use mobile apps to make investments.” “American consumers collectively suffered more than $11 billion in damages as a result.”
Garrison’s complaint also claims that SBF’s operation was nothing more than a Ponzi scheme and that celebrities “actively participated in” its promotion. The filing also mentions that the emails and texts between defendants were destroyed, but the lawfirm was able obtain the evidence. The complaint also notes:
We found many incriminating FTX texts and emails, even though they were destroyed.
