NFT Sales Jumped 27% Higher This Week, Cryptopunks Rise Above Bored Apes

Statistics show that the non-fungible token sales (NFT) jumped 27.72% over NFT sales last week on Dec. 14, 2022. The Bored Ape Yacht Club’s (BAYC), NFT collection accounted for the largest sales this week. However, on Wednesday afternoon, Cryptopunks’ floor value jumped once more than the BAYC NFT floor value.
$154 Million in NFT sales recorded over the last week, Cryptopunks’ floor values rise
Between Wednesday and today, $154.78million in sales were made over the past seven days. This is 27.72% more than the week before. According to cryptoslam.io metrics, $154 million in NFT transactions over the past week was generated by 184,248 NFT buyers as well as 886,605 Blockchain transactions.

Ethereum NFT sales are dominating once again. The chain saw $129.99million in NFT sales, out of $154 million for the seven-day aggregate. NFT sales from Ethereum jumped 37.73% over ETH-based NFTs last week. NFT sales from Solana and Immutable X, Polygon and Cardano also increased. Immutable X NFT Sales rose 5.20% over the previous week, in addition to Ethereum’s NFT sale increase.

BAYC was the top-selling collection in seven-day NFT sales, with $21.84 million in this week’s sales. BAYC is followed closely by Mutant Ape Yacht Club, Valhalla and Cockpunch By Tim Ferriss. The NFT that sold the most this week was BAYC #441, which was sold five days earlier for $691K. BAYC #441 was followed closely by BAYC #3756 which sold for $517K, and Sandbox Land #92594 which sold for $202K.

BAYC #2596 was sold for $178K just 24 hours ago, while BAYC #785 was sold for $137K. Despite the fact that four of the top five NFT sales were BAYC-related, BAYC #2,596 was sold for $178K around 24 hours ago and BAYC #785 was sold for around $137K. According to nftpricefloor.com metrics, the Cryptopunks floor value is currently higher than the BAYC floor by 1.5ether at 1:00 PM (ET) Dec. 14, 2022.
