SBF gives up on extradition to the US

The SBF will likely reverse its decision to oppose extradition to the USA in the next trial in Bahamas. Despite his efforts to resist the action, he was detained. Sam was taken into custody after a judge denied him a release request pending an extradition hearing. SBF could be sentenced to up to 115 years imprisonment if convicted of all charges. The legal team representing the SBF had previously stated that it would not support the extradition decision to America. The USA and the Bahamas have been in agreement since 1994 to extradite defendants from the US if they are convicted of crimes in either country. Sources say that the testimony was also criticized by SBF’s parents. Both Joseph Bankman and Barbara Fried, parents of Sam Bankman Fried, are Stanford Law School professors. Barbara Fried always laughed with a mocking attitude during the trial, and about his father, he closed his ears to the conclusions of the judge and prosecutor.DISCLAIMER: The Information on this website is provided as general market commentary and does not constitute investment advice.
