Stanford University’s Former Dean and Scientist Behind SBF’s Bail bond
Sam Bankman Fried News: It was discovered that a Stanford University research scientist signed the $200,000 bail bond to release Sam Bankman Fried. After his group of companies fell from a value of $32 billion, Sam Bankman-Fried was granted a conditional bail bond in December 2022. The release of the former CEO of FTX was met with great anger by the crypto community. They felt it was not right to let him go after the massive losses incurred to millions.

Apart from SBF’s parents, Dr. Andreas Paepcke was one of the co-signers. According to the Stanford University bio, Paepcke is working on user interfaces in the areas teaching and learning. After the judge in the case ordered the release of Sam Bankman Fried’s bond cosigners, the name was made public.
